Efforts made in health services in nepal

Nepal was isolated from the rest of the world for a long time.After introduction of democracy in 1951 nepal expose itself to the world.In nepal hospital was first introduced in1890 known as bir hospital.Goverment has set up aseperate ministry,department and formulated plans and policies to maintain good health of people.Thera are regional hospitales,zonal hospitals and district hospitals in several part of the kingdom.Neplease government has implemented health policies under which are conducted programmes like basic health services,medical services and public awareness programmes.International agencies like WHO,UNICEF,UMN,INF etc have also been giving valuable contributions to improve health condition of nepal.

In this way,some efforts have been made at government level to improve the health condition of people.At the same time,several international organizations have been giving voulantary services in nepal to improve the health of nepal.Industries like golcha,dugar and chaudary group distributes medicine time to time.Organizations like nepal chamber of commerce,lons club,rotary club etc also organise programmes to provide free medical treatment and free distribution of medicine to people.
